Completing the full line up for this year’s Teenage Cancer Trust week are The WhoPaul WellerPet Shop Boys with Johnny MarrOlly Murs, plus an evening of comedy hosted by Romesh Ranganathan – with special guests Jo Brand, Kevin BridgesRussell Kane, Mike Wilmott and Tom Allen.

Kicking off music in 2017 with one of the biggest musical comebacks in recent years, over the past month, 25-year-old Sheeran has broken records across the globe with his dual comeback singles “Shape Of You” and “Castle On The Hill”. Holding firm at the top of the UK charts, the singles have accumulated over 900 million combined global streams to date and “Shape Of You” even achieved Spotify’s biggest-ever day streams and shot straight to #1 on the USA’s Billboard Hot 100 upon release!

Sheeran’s career has gone from strength to strength since the release of his debut album ‘+’ (plus) in 2011. The LP, which spent three weeks at #1 in the UK, spawned his breakthrough single “The A Team”, which later went onto win a prestigious Ivor Novello award for ‘Best Song Musically and Lyrically’. Ed’s follow-up album ‘x’ (multiply) was released in 2014 to colossal acclaim and has since gone onto become one of the biggest-selling albums of all time (OCC). Making history around the world, the LP has landed 90 platinum certifications across the globe and seen him win an array of awards including ‘Album of the Year’ at the BRIT Awards (2015). Not to mention his record-breaking stint at Wembley Stadium in July 2015, which saw Ed become the first-ever artist to headline the venue, solo, over three consecutive sold out nights.

Ed’s hotly anticipated third album titled ‘÷’ (divide) will be released on 3rd March and with his Teenage Cancer Trust show at the Royal Albert Hall just weeks later, this show is one not to be missed.
